Many people choose Orlando holiday rentals over hotels for their holidays in Orlando because of the convenience, especially where children or larger groups of people are involved. Children, in particular, can easily get bored in the comfort of the hotel room, and you don’t always feel relaxed when you allow them to move around the hotel or even use its swimming pool without being nearby.
Another problem with hotels and children is catering and meals. Room service can be expensive and children like to eat and drink a lot, sometimes uncomfortable for adults – like after midnight or early in the morning before breakfast. Then you have a problem with the rooms themselves. Are you satisfied with the children in the hotel room? You wouldn’t be happy if they shared your room, but what are your alternatives?
Not much if you insist on hotel accommodation for a holiday in Orlando, but a luxury holiday villa solves all these problems, plus a few others. Take the entertainment alone. You can not always be outdoors visiting the attractions in Orlando, and with the children especially you will have to spend time in your accommodation in the evenings. Imagine if it was a hotel room!
Renting a luxury vacation in Orlando offers TVs in every room, most with video or DVD players and even Blueray, plus at least one game console such as PlayStation or similar. With good public address systems and a major widescreen TV with surround sound, this should be enough to keep them busy. If not, there’s always a game room with billiards and table hockey and even your own private pool.
You have the privacy you need, as well as a luxurious kitchen with a refrigerator and freezer that you can use for rusty snacks when needed, and even for a full family meal. This cannot be done in a hotel. You must use room service when the kitchen is closed, and drink in the hotel bar paying the most paid outlandish prices. With the Orlando holiday rental, you can buy drinks in the supermarket and drink them at your own pool.
That’s what vacation should be all about, not squeezed into one hotel room – you don’t live in one room in the house, so why do you live on vacation? This should be a time to relax and rest, not a test that brightens your nerves when children are under your feet.
As for the attractions of Orlando: many villas are just a few minutes from Disney and Waterworld, and there is much more to do than just that. Of course, much of Orlando’s entertainment is focused around Disney World, but there is also Universal Studios to visit, and the golf courses are great.
If you need to brush up on the game, there is a load on golf schools and academies in the area, including the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy at the Bay Hill Club, and the Brad Brewer Golf School at Shingle Creek. Download an instruction on swing while your partner takes your kids to Waterworld and then back to the villa for big pasta or a few hamburgers. Maybe even a barbecue by the pool with a few beers. This is what I call being on holiday! Golf, burgers and beer by the pool. Great – just what you need to recharge your batteries for the next year in the office.
Holiday rental Orlando offers comfort and luxury that is hard to beat with any other form of holiday accommodation. To be honest, I find it hard to guess how some people might prefer a hotel room to a five or six-room villa with a luxury kitchen, dishwasher, freezer, TV in every place, billiard table and everything else you might want.
